💻 Code Your Way to Space 🚀

Talk to spacecraft, land on Mars, explore the Moon and beyond ...

EDUCATION UPDATES | NOVEMBER 2023

Explore space and STEM with these coding challenges

Computer Science Education Week Event

Next week is Computer Science Education Week, and we're celebrating with a collection of lessons and projects that let students step into the shoes of NASA scientists and engineers. These challenges for grades 3-12 get students using code to model everything from Mars landings to Moon exploration.

It's also a great opportunity to try coding challenges with a timely tie-in. NASA's Deep Space Network, a system of giant antennas used to communicate with spacecraft throughout the solar system, is celebrating its 60th anniversary and serves as the foundation for lessons that get students coding messages for space and even decoding space images!
