The Force is Strong with this 'May the Fourth' Teachable Moment

Here's a way to turn May the Fourth (also known as "Star Wars Day") into a standards-aligned lesson for middle and high school students!

First, read this Teachable Moment blog post from JPL education specialist Lyle Tavernier to learn about the science behind NASA's real-life ion-propelled spacecraft called Dawn.
